A 1-hour (ish) lecture covering the 500 million year history of pinhole imaging, including the history, science and contemporary approaches to this optical wonder. As well as several demonstrations on camera building the talk will include the photographers own work ranging in time from thousandths of a second to 6 month duration images of the sun, and using cameras which vary, from a small camera that can fit inside my mouth, to images made using a wheelie bin (which can't!).
